Welsh Terrier Walk 2014 was a great success! And WTCares wants to thank everyone who participated. We are already planning 2015’s and expect even bigger and better venues — if that’s possible.
The most feedback the committee received, from our 2014 attendees, was that there was not enough time to explore Greenville. So next year we’re adding a FREE FRIDAY event. The gathering will run from Thursday, Sept. 10 thru Sunday, Sept 13. The hotel will hold our block pricing two days prior and two days following for all those wanting to extend their stay. We will have a new hotel with a bigger meeting area and totally refurbished rooms. Check-in will be on Thursday, and a pre-welcome event will be planned for that Thursday night, which will include a cookout with planning time and materials to map out how you want to spend your free time on Friday. There will be materials available to walk the Swamp Rabbit Trail, enjoy an afternoon downtown (shop and eat in one of the many dog friendly shops and restaurants), or perhaps take the BMW tour. For those who are visiting Greenville for the first time, there will be a Stink Eye 2015 Concierge committee, people who live-in and know Greenville’s hotspots can help you map out your day. There is a lot to announce for next year, so you will want to check-in on this site/blog regularly. But a heads-up for those of you that need to schedule vacation and travel time in advance, mark your calendar to attend next year’s Greenville Stink Eye Walk for SEPTEMBER 10-13, 2015. And invite all your all your AIREDALES, FOX TERRIERS AND LAKELAND cousins, because we all support our own. . . in rescue and in life. SLIDE SHOW BELOW
